Free jathakam (birth chart) – rasi and navamsa chart
This free jathakam (birth chart) shows the rasi chart and the navamsa chart in the South Indian square layout used in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, the longitude, nakshatra and pada of each graha, the lagna, and the Vimshottari mahadasha periods with the balance at birth. All positions are sidereal (Lahiri ayanamsa) and computed from the NASA/JPL DE440s ephemeris for the exact minute and place of birth; Rahu is the mean lunar node and Ketu is opposite it. The lagna comes from the local sidereal time at the birth place, so the birth time matters: the lagna moves through a whole rasi in about two hours. Navamsa follows the standard rule (each 3°20′ from Mesha in order) and the dasha uses the 120-year Vimshottari cycle with years of 365.25 days. The chart is computation only – no predictions are added. Nothing you enter is sent anywhere: the calculation runs in your browser.
